I have been training and teaching since 1979 as a professional athlete in Martial Arts, Kickboxing and Boxing here in Broward County. I am a Broward Girl. I own and operate a boxing gym in Broward. I dedicate myself as a coach and trainer to athletes who have dreams and do not let any obstacles or hurtles stand in their way. I train people wanting to get into the best shape of their lives. I am certified in various organizations in the fitness field and hold many titles and certifications, including the highest certification level qualifying me as an Olympic-Level Coach/Trainer.
I have lived, ate and slept this sport for over 30 years. That doesn’t include how long I have been dreaming about boxing or fighting. I have always wanted to compete in boxing, especially after watching Muhammad Ali growing up in the 70’s.
I graduated from Coral Spring High School in 1979, where I played basketball. We won the School State Championships that year. After school I went searching for my dream. I could not find a boxing gym that would take girls at that time. I did find a Karate Studio where I got to put gloves on and compete with other people within a week’s time. I did point Karate tournaments and I won numerous 1st place and National competitions. In 1983 I had my first Kickboxing fight in a ring. In 1995 they finally gave women the opportunity to box in a ring for World Titles, that would be noticed in the boxing world and get a women's boxing ranking system. That was my first boxing title. After competing in the circuit for seventeen years it was time for me to step down and let new comers have the spotlight. I retired in 2000 after winning Four World Title in my fighting career. I have had the opportunity to travel to many counties and represent United States thanks to sports. In 1998 I held Florida all first Amateur Women's Boxing show and continue to the present times.
